Phoebe Meixner

Phoebe Meixner is the Program Coordinator for the Lovejoy Center for Bridging Biodiversity, Conservation Science, and Policy. She is dedicated to supporting global conservation through interdisciplinary collaboration and creative problem solving. Before joining the Lovejoy Center, they supported large-scale transformative university partnerships and delighted in their work as a fourth-grade classroom teacher in the Great Plains. 

At the Lovejoy Center, Phoebe leads the Lovejoy Center's student specialist program, teaching undergraduate and graduate students to become effective and collaborative leaders in conservation, organization management, biodiversity science, and more. Additionally, she co-teaches the CAMBIUM-Lovejoy Professional Development Workshop Series for University of Arizona students, which provides training in science communication while connecting students to University resources.
